I’ve always been drawn to “pink” perfumes—not just because of the color, but the feeling they carry. There’s usually something soft about them, a mix of sweetness and lightness that doesn’t try too hard.
But after trying these two, I realized “pink” can mean very different things depending on how it’s put together.
1. Pink Velvet Jean Marc Paris
This one feels playful right from the start. The scent leans sweet, almost candy-like at first, but not in a way that feels overwhelming. It has that youthful energy, the kind that makes you want to wear it casually without thinking too much. I tend to reach for this when I’m in a lighter mood—something easy, something that doesn’t need a special occasion. It lingers gently, like a soft reminder rather than a bold statement.
2. Chanel Chance Eau Tendre
This one feels more refined, but still very approachable. Chanel Chance Eau Tendre perfume has that delicate balance between fruity and floral, where nothing really overpowers the other. The scent feels airy, almost like it moves with you instead of staying in one place. I like wearing this when I want something a bit more polished, but still soft and effortless. It doesn’t shout—it just quietly stays present.
What I found interesting is how both perfumes sit under the same “pink” idea, yet give off completely different moods. One feels more carefree and sweet, while the other leans elegant and slightly more composed. It made me realize that even within the same category, there’s a whole range of expression.
